Hayao Miyazaki Retiring

Konnichiwa Minasan,

I have a bit of sad news today. Hayao Miyazaki has said he is retiring from directing films. Whether this means we'll see him work on future films in other capacities is unclear. This is some pretty sad news to hear being a fan of his works and Ghibli in general.

Evangelion 1.11 You are (not) Alone Blu Ray Madman Slipcase Version

Okay, so it's been about a month since I ordered this from JB on some crazy special (I got it at less than half price!) and it finally arrived today! Thought I might just share some pictures with you. The booklet that comes with it is just about the best I've seen. It was even worth taking some photos of. I should probably start doing some actual reviews of anime but for what it's worth I highly recommend you make some time for this movie.

Well the movie just got released in Australia yesterday and I ended up picking it up on the way home today. I got it for $10 of the supposed price listed online so I was super happy about it. Anyway, I LOVED K-on so I'm very much looking forward to seeing the movie. Let me know what you thought of the series in the comments!

Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum Collection - DVD Box Set - Madman

I thought this would be post worthy. A few days ago I saw this Box set go for $277.70 including postage at auction on eBay. I paid $70 in total for mine last year. This makes me wonder, how much have you paid for a boxset and what's the craziest price you've seen one sell for? Let everyone know in the comments section!
